Drop by at Colours of Courage — an inspiring art exhibition in Kolkata

Every artwork tells a powerful story, with all proceeds going directly to the artists

You may have attended art exhibitions before, but this one promises to be truly special. Colours of Courage, presented by Arijit Official, with My Kolkata as digital media partner, will feature the incredible work of six talented artists who live with some kind of physical challenges, such as autism, polio and cancer. This exhibition aims to celebrate the beauty of life through their unique perspectives — with each artist selected from the Shakti Samman Awards 2022-23 winners.

“Each artist has faced a whole lot of setbacks in life, yet they put up a smile and try to express themselves through their art. We wanted to give them a platform to highlight their talent,” said Arijit Mukherjee, the event organiser.

The exhibition will be held on December 9 and 10 from 3pm-8pm. The artists will be present with their paintings and even give attendees a live performance. The paintings on display can be bought and all proceeds will go directly to the artists. So, come along, show your support, and learn more about their inspiring stories.
