Don’t miss author JeanBaptiste Phou’s book launch today in Kolkata

Prominent author and artist JeanBaptiste Phou is in Kolkata to launch his new book, a compelling gay memoir, Coming Out of My Skin. It focuses on the intersectionality of race and sexuality experienced by Phou, his fears, his take on gender identity and how his ethnic origin has contributed towards constructing his sexual identity. The book, which is originally written in French, has been translated into English by Edward Gauvin.
At the event, Phou will read from his book, and then will have a conversation with Seagull editor Bishan Samaddar. Coming Out of My Skin along with all books by Seagull are available at a 50% discount till December 25. So, what are you waiting for?
