Alliance Française is hosting a panel discussion on Srijit Mukherji’s ‘Padatik

The film’s director, cast and producer will be talking about their journey to bringing Mrinal Sen to life

Ever since Srijit Mukherji unveiled the teaser of his Mrinal Sen biopic, Padatik, fans have been intrigued to see how he will bring the master director to life on the big screen. If you’re curious to know how Mukherji conceived this project and put it to execution, head over to Alliance Française du Bengale’s Park Street address on August 12 at 6:30pm. The organisation has put together a panel discussion about the film, comprising not just Mukherji, but its principal actors Chanchal Chowdhury and Monami Ghosh; and producer Firdausul Hasan. Cine Academy president Raju Raman will be moderating the discussion, asking the team pertinent questions about their creative process while depicting the life of one of Bengal’s greatest directors.
