When our ship sails through the fjords, the view on both the sides are awe-inducing. The snow-clad mountains, the waterfalls, the small villages with beautiful huts and the fjord itself lend themselves to a splendid experience
Olden is one of the most beautiful villages in Norway. I have been to Olden many times but each time I come to this place, I just fall in love with its beauty all over again. The photos will tell you all
Be it white houses on the banks of the fjords or a little up there or flocks of sheep grazing on the lush green meadows, everything seems magical about Olden
I spotted a sightseeing bus in Olden (top) packed with tourists while I was exploring the village on a rented bicycle
Sitting on a quaint, wooden bench overlooking the fjord in Olden gave me a few moments to introspect before I went off to hunt for village eateries for a quick lunch. Luckily, I got the chance to relish reindeer carpaccio, which are basically thick slices of reindeer meat garnished with berries, paired with French white wine. The lunch cost me 120 Norwegian kroners and left me happy
