Single window for New Town pujas to seek cop permission

A single window facility will be offered on Friday to Puja organisers of New Town and Rajarhat who are unable to fill up the online form to seek permission.

Forms can also be filled up online since September 9 at www.bidhannagarcitypolice.gov.in, and will be available for registration till September 23.

Friday’s single window facility to seek permission will be offered at the New Town police station for pujas under New Town, Eco Park, Techno City and Rajarhat police stations. Puja organisers of Narayanpur may visit the single window facility at the airport police station on Monday.

The dhunuchi dance contest that NKDA used to hold at the Upasana ghat during immersion will be back after a break of two years. This year, immersion will be allowed from October 5 to 8.
