Governor order
The Raj Bhavan said late on Tuesday that Governor C.V. Ananda Bose, in his capacity as chancellor of state-aided universities, has launched a programme called SPEED (simplified procedure for easy and effective decision). “The Chancellor has issued orders constituting 25 Teachers Selection Committees. A Vice Chancellor Committee has also been set up to identify the backlog in the University administration and to suggest ways and means for revamping and rebooting the University system,” the Raj Bhavan said.
