Kolkata Traffic Police have posted a list of programmes that might affect the city traffic on Thursday (13.10.2022).
- 9am: Precautionary police arrangements at Gandhi statue
- 2.30pm: Demonstration in front of Kolkata Municipal Corporation headquarters, 5, SN Banerjee Road (earlier, participants may assemble in front of Elite cinema / Nizam restaurant on Hogg Street and proceed towards the venue)
- 3pm: A programme at Uttirno, 1A, Reformatory Street
LED lights
The Kolkata Municipal Corporation will soon take up installation of LED streetlights at Nayabad and Mukundapur in Ward 109. The work will cost around Rs 8.19 lakh.
Agartala-Kolkata train rescheduled
The departure time of the Agartala–Kolkata (Chitpore) inaugural special train rescheduled train has been revised.
The train will leave Agartala at 8.45am on Thursday instead of 9.25am, an official of the Eastern Railway said. The booking of tickets for the Kolkata-Agartala special train is now available.
Concessional booking and Tatkal quota tickets will not be available for these trains. The train will stop at Bandel, Nabadwip, Katwa, Azimganj, Jangipur Road and Malda Town stations.
