• 4pm: Programme in front of the Consulate General of Japan, 55, MN Sen Lane, Tollygunge, by Ward 97 Kolkata Municipal Corporation
• 4pm: Meeting followed by procession from Chittaranjan Avenue crossing towards Bharat Sabha Hall of 62, BB Ganguly Street
• 4.30pm: Procession followed by meeting from Swami Vivekananda’s ancestral house, 105, Vivekananda Road to Shyambazar Metro Station gate no. 1 via Bidhan Sarani - Shyambazar five-point crossing

Metro services on Buddha Purnima

Metro Railway will run 234 trains on the Dakshineswar-New Garia corridor (Blue Line) on Friday on the occasion of Buddha Purnima, instead of the usual weekday count of 288. The first and the last trains will leave at the usual timings, said an official.
