Director-general of state police Manoj Malviya on Tuesday launched the Khoya-Paya portal-app at Bhabani Bhawan to improve the process of identification of missing persons and unidentified bodies. Anyone can register with the portal and provide information about missing or sighted child/person, without waiting to complete the legal formalities. The information supplied by the citizen(s) would be made available for public view after quick moderation, thereby saving the valuable time

Metro Railway work at BBD Bag has gained pace. On February 4, Calcutta High Court had directed the Railway Vikas Nigam Limited to commence with the Joka-BBD Bag Metro construction in the Maidan area.
