The water level at Rabindra Sarobar has gone down following a prolonged dry spell in Kolkata. Kolkata has been experiencing an inter-seasonal dry spell. Kolkata usually witnesses spells of light and smart showers and cloudy conditions around the middle of January. However, this year’s winter-spring tenure has remained extremely dry.
