After the successful completion of the 44th Chess Olympiad and Asian Continental Championship, the next big event will be held between November 29 and December 4 at the Bhasha Bhawan Auditorium, National Library. Both the men and women's sections will have an equal prize fund of $41,500. The five-day Rapid and Blitz tournament will feature 22 of the world's best, including India's top players. A draw of the lots ceremony was held at Taj Bengal on Monday in the presence of tournament ambassador Viswanathan Anand, Dibendyu Barua and other dignitaries.
