Just few months old, La Artisan Cafe tucked inside Celica Park on Park Street is a great place for office and college-goers to stop by for a cuppa and some catching up. Making the most of the cool weather, the cafe recently did a fun collab with designer Ayushman Mitra’s fashion label Bobo Calcutta. The fun event had guests browsing through the label’s cool patches that could be stitched to anything — sweatshirt to skirts! “At La Artisan, we always try to come up with unique concepts which can be seen in our hot chocolate varieties along with our ice creams. We wanted to collaborate with a brand with a similar mindset like BOBO Calcutta who gives a fresh and new perspective to fashion. We wanted people to experience our hot chocolate and ice creams along with Bobo’s new sweatshirt collection and patchwork which was beautifully showcased at the cafe,” said Tanay Agarwal, co-owner, La Artisan.

“Meet — Sip — Customise was an intimate setting at La Artisan that helped me build a personal relationship with the client and the piece they were ordering. Personalised sweatshirts with hand- embroidered elements from my body of work allowed the clients to pick and choose what they thought had meaning to them. The vibe was great, the space was in full bloom and I hope people who came in had a good time. It was about making a connection and I did see it happening,” said Ayushman Mitra, BOBO Calcutta.

BOBO Calcutta showcased their sweatshirts and patches, where people could pick the hand- embroidered patches they want on their sweatshirt, customising the outfit. The collaboration took place at La Artisan with a focus on their hot chocolate and ice cream menu. From Chocolate Chip, Strawberry Cheesecake ice creams to S’mores Hot Chocolate and Rosemary Orange Hot Chocolate, they had it all!

“I love the concept of the event where food and fashion came together. It was also a great opportunity to reach out to Bobo for a direct interaction,” said Mohammed Iqbal, fashion model.
