Dance, party, snack and sip — if you want this to be your Valentine’s Day itinerary, then hop over to Traffic Gastropub. The City Centre Salt Lake party dine-and-dance address has special V-Day treats and tipple to match.
Expect DJ Enzed to turn up the romance as he belts out his unique brand of beats on February 14. The musician, producer and electronic music enthusiast, who spends a lot of time developing his sound, which is all about deep hypnotic grooves, will be performing for lovebirds who love to dance the night away. Stepping it up a notch further will be the ‘Best Couple Award’ by Traffic and complimentary shots for the ladies.
“This Valentine’s Day, we are celebrating love with unique food and spirits. We promise our guests a great pubbing experience and memories they will always cherish,” shared Siddhartha Gupta, Sekhar Chatterjee and Swastik Nag, directors of Traffic Gastropub.
Food picks from the menu (available till February 28)
Popeye’s Meds: This dish is the gastropub’s take on the samosa. Creamy spinach and corn filling is wrapped in layers of crunchy flaky phyllo pastry. It’s served with spicy dipping sauces that make the flavours shine.
Screw Me Down: This dish is sharable and makes for a great pairing with your cocktails. The grilled chicken skewers are served hot and juicy with sun-dried tomato tapenade that adds just the right punch to the plate!
Gulabi Baby: This dessert is truly a treat. Served in a Martini glass, this sweet treat has heart-shaped gulab jamuns paired with a classic Valentine’s Day special strawberry cheesecake and crunchy darsaan.
The menu also has dishes like Jal Pari (chef’s special fish creation), Bewafa Jhinga (crackled prawns served with burnt garlic mayonnaise), Chicken Katori Chaat, Pyaara Bakra Singara and more.
Boozy picks from the menu
Soft Porn: Made with shaken gin, dry vermouth, egg white, green mint and blue curacao, this drink packs in quite a punch. It is served with a flower which elevates it to Level Instaworthy.
Love Bite: This vodka-based drink has Campari, hints of elderflower liqueur and grapefruit syrup, all shaken together to get a sunset-inspired hue. The drink is sweet and served with a slice of orange on top of the frothed egg whites.
Traffic Gastropub also has drinks like Melody Chocolaty (Irish whisky, Baileys and whipped cream), Babu Shona (Bourbon, Jägermeister, sweet vermouth and maple syrup), Be My Gin (gin, orange juice, litchi juice, fresh lime juice and raspberry puree) and more.
