PICO Pizzeria and Coffee Bar, located near Vivekananda Park, has a whole tasting menu that will ensure you have a good time and a good meal with great company. The tasting menu is available for advance booking at Rs 2,000 per head for a minimum of six people and maximum of 15. The experience begins with their small plates. First up is a Calzone stuffed with ricotta cheese and pepperoni, paired with a marinara dipping sauce. They have you covered with a vegetarian version of the classic as well. Pair it with a spiced pourover — a heady mix of black coffee with cinnamon, black pepper and orange zest, delivering cosy Christmassy vibes ahead of the festive season

Up next is a Salted Caramel Latte, which is a signature drink at PICO. Served along with Filo Parmesan, which has filo pastry sheets on a bed of garlic cream and cheese sauce with a lot of parmesan cheese and some ratatouille between the layers. This is the second of four small plates you will be served, so be sure to arrive with an empty stomach!

The third plate is a Tomato and Bocconcini Cheese Bruschetta — bread layered in basil pesto sauce and topped with fresh bocconcini cheese and cherry tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. The bruschetta is paired with a cold brew. The last of the small plates is a sourdough with a guacamole spread topped with a poached egg that is served along with a vanilla ice latte

To break up the courses, you are next served with a platter of cheese and fresh fruits. It includes gouda, mild cheddar, bocconcini and smoked black pepper-flavoured cheese, accompanied by strawberries, oranges, green apple, kiwi and plum. The platter works as a palate cleanser and is served with a hot cuppa of cinnamon and ginger coffee

First up on the big platter from PICO is their classic hand-tossed Neapolitan-style Margherita pizza, with its perfectly blistered crust. It is paired with an Orange Concoction, a refreshing mix of coffee and fresh orange juice — a PICO speciality for non-coffee drinkers. The dried orange garnish clipped to the side of the drink adds an unexpected twist

The final dish before dessert is a comforting Spaghetti in Basil Pesto, paired with a housemade toasted bread for a satisfying crunch. This course is complemented with the signature Cold Brew (below), which is black coffee slow-strained overnight and cooled for 20 hours before being served

For dessert, you have a Blueberry Crumble that is served with ice cream, and a Tiramisu. Both desserts are accompanied by PICO’s Moka Pot, giving you a fresh dose of black coffee to wash down a sumptuous meal
