In pictures: Three MasterChef India participants dish out expert tips

The Day One workshop on Mediterranean cuisine was led by Neha Deepak Shah, who is the MasterChef India Season 4 finalist, co-founder of Meraaki Kitchen and Cafe White Sage in Jaipur and a popular food Instagrammer

Neha taught the participants a vegetarian Arabic Spread that included dishes like Hummus, Muhammara, Labneh, Harrisa, Baba Ganoush, Falafel and Pita bread, complemented by zesty Garlic Toum

Drawing from her experience living in Dubai, Neha shared expert tips to make super creamy hummus. She made Muhammara with roasted bell pepper and walnut dip and Labneh with different variation ideas. She also shared the secret to making the perfect puffy and textured pita bread

The chef interacted with the participants and answered all their questions. A handbook was given out to the participants that had more recipes from the expert including a recipe for Arabic Lentil Soup, Arabic Salads and Batata Harra (Lebanese spicy potatoes)

It was raining pasta on Day Two! This was conducted by the winner of MasterChef Season 7, Nayanjyoti Saikia who taught the curious aspiring chefs to make eggless pasta recipes from scratch

The session began with Nayanjyoti teaching how to whip up two eggless pasta recipes with semolina and flour. He also prepared Tortellini and Caramelle stuffed pasta shapes and three recipes of pasta sauces like Stuffed Pasta with Sage Butter Sauce, Alfredo Fettuccine and Marinara Sauce

Additionally, Nayanjyoti guided participants in the art of rolling and shaping unfilled pasta. These included Fettuccine, Gnocchi Tette, Farfalle, Garganelli and Sorpresine

It was a kid’s special day for the third masterclass session by Kirti Bhoutika. Kolkata girl Kirti Bhoutika is the youngest MasterChef India winner who won Season 5 at the age of 22! Owner of SugarPlum Cakery, Kirti shared her expert baking ideas with the children

Around 34 enthusiastic children turned up at The Kitchenette to learn from the best! From cute cookie Monster Cupcakes to Fudgy Cake Pops, the children had a hands-on experience in baking and decorating
