After launching seven outlets in Calcutta, the famous Punjabi food brand Rang De Basanti Dhaba opened its doors in New Market. Overlooking the busy streets of New Market, the new outlet spreads over 2,000 square feet with a quirky new decor. The interiors of the new outlet are an homage to the historic place of New Market. As the brand is revamping itself, Rang De Basanti Dhaba at New Market is the new face of the brand overcoming the old designs and vibes of the F&B line. The green cubicles are set by the huge window overlooking the everyday hustle and bustle on the streets of New Market. The wooded panes are coloured green to depict the green shutter windows in old Calcutta houses.
From Maradona running with a Chicken Roll to Michael Jackson moonwalking with a chicken biryani, pop art and food are perfectly fused together on the corridor walls, making it a perfect Instagrammable spot.
The appetising Goli Soda is an ode to Gold Spot and a fizzy drink to go with your food with the fun element of popping the goli (marble) from the top. It comes in refreshing flavours.
Truffle Malai Chicken Tikka are rich creamy kebabs topped with truffle oil.
Chur Chur Naan is crispy and filling. It is served with Pindi chane, dal makhani, raita, lachha onion, and chutney, and topped with a dollop of butter.
