Hyderabad-based quick-service eatery chain Zomoz just unveiled its first Kolkata outlet at Acropolis Mall. The brand is famed for its saucy momos and butter chicken momos
Established in 2016 by ISB alumnus Shouvik Dhar, Zomoz has outlets in 70 locations across eight major cities including Pune, Bengaluru and Mysore. Zomoz’s Acropolis Mall dine-outlet serves a range of momos and is set to introduce a variety of baos and crystal dumplings
'I feel proud to be able to open our first retail outlet in the city that is very close to my heart. People in Kolkata are connoisseurs of food and it was just a matter of time before we opened here. We are examining the broader demands of customers, including value-added products, through the prism of authenticity and consistency,' says Dhar. The brand’s signature sauce momos are tossed in sauces like Schezwan and Chipotle
One of their biggest crowd-pullers is the Hot & Crispy Momo which has a crunchy base and a juicy filling. It’s usually served with momo sauce and mayonnaise
Customers can also go for an Experiment Box to sample more than one type of momo within a category
Zomoz also has value combos that offer a pocket-friendly package featuring six freshly made chicken momos along with crispy fries and a drink of your choice
