Tata Steel Kolkata Literary Meet in association with Victoria Memorial Hall and in partnership with The Telegraph is an annual winter carnival for bibliophiles that the city looks forward to eagerly. To flag off yet another edition, the Taj Bengal terrace saw authors and literary enthusiasts come together for a night of bonding. This year, the opening party also marked the launch of Taj culinary legend Satish Arora’s book Sweets and Bitters: Tales from a Chef’s Life.

“Taj Bengal has been associated with Kolkata Lit Fest for the past 12 years. It is extremely heartening to see Kalam evolve as one of the leading literary events for the city of Calcutta and the country. This year particularly we are honored to have a Nobel laureate, Booker winners, and many more celebrated authors, artists, and personalities from the film and theatre world. We have made a special welcome for all guests staying in the hotel and celebrate this literary event,” said Arnab Chatterjee, general manager, Taj Bengal.
