The art exhibition was inaugurated by Kaushik Maitra (right), managing director of Sulekha Works Limited and Chawm Ganguly, Fountain Pen historian and enthusiast. The sketches have been made with Sulekha Ink, a brand that Ray had a personal connection with
‘I began this series in 2021, inspired by a photo shared by Sulekha Works Ltd., which depicted Lalmohan Ganguly sitting next to a bottle of Sulekha ink in the film, ‘Joy Baba Felunath’,” says Karishma, looking back the inception of the series

‘This is my favourite,’ says Karishma, when asked to make a pick from her series. “The reason I keep going back to Ray is every character by him has a presence,” added the artist. The frames are from the Bhowanipore Art Framing Co., that also had a personal connection with Ray
