Last weekend, Canteen Pub & Grub witnessed a night of dancing and mayhem (the good kind!) as Casa Bacardi x Ryan Nogar in association with My Kolkata hosted their second event in the city on Saturday, July 8. DJ Ryan Nogar took charge of the console and performed a multi-genre set. “I am grateful to have been a part of Casa Bacardi's super high-energy event, packing a punch with an amazing audience with an unforgettable vibe! Huge shout out to the artistes and team that made this happen,” said the Goa-based DJ.

Ryan started off with some Bollywood and commercial beats where songs like Jhoome jo pathaan, Pasoori and Divine's Baazigar made it to the list. A lot of the commercial songs, mashups and remixes had an EDM and electro drop to them, which really got the audience going. Reading the audience, Ryan then turned his Bollywood set into an English one, maintaining the power-packed EDM drops. This part of the set included pop hits like Shape Of You and Save The World. The audience was so responsive to the set that they cheered along with the intros and transitions even before the songs got to the lyrics.
The demands were high for the Bacardi cocktails and bar manager Sujit Thakur did a brilliant job in stirring up classics including Kolkata Mojito, Puerto Rico Breeze, Gondhoraj Iced Tea
While Ryan kept the music pumping, Bacardi ensured the party carried on and the partygoers were well-fuelled. The decor had the brand’s trademark pops and the bar was buzzing with bartenders shaking up some classic cocktails.
