Career After Family Enterprise (CAFE) in association with The Telegraph and Council for Fair Business Practices (CFBP) presented CAFE Pehchaan 2.0 at Taj Bengal, on August 27. The event was a celebration of women seeking and excelling with entrepreneurial opportunities while managing home and family at the same time. It was a celebration of identity and an endeavour to bring appreciation and recognition in a woman’s life who is capably balancing all of it. Spotlighting and recognising women who are en course to make a difference. Celebrity astrologer and motivational coach Jai Madaan spoke at length about her journey as a woman, the importance of bringing in a difference and initiating a change by perceiving and balancing the elemental presences. The event also recognised and acknowledged the contributions with awards ranging from Business Woman Award to Women Changemaker Award. To cap off the daylong event, there was a celebratory fashion walk named Main Apni Favourite Hoon.

“We all strive to be recognised for who we are as individuals, and Pehchaan is our endeavour in that direction to identify the deserving and bring them to light,” said Kavita Agarwal, founder, CAFE.

“Pehchaan is one of the flagship events of CAFE and we at CFBP are proud to associate with them to promote a cause for women empowerment. This event ensured fair business practices do not remain a pipe dream but a throbbing reality for women who practise it and who have come out of their familial nests to carve an identity of their own,” said Swapnil Kothari, president, CFBP.
