While some practical and vocational subjects of CBSE have started, the main papers will begin from March 2 for Class XII and March 7 for Class X. Jharkhand Academic Council exams commenced on Wednesday.

The Telegraph presents a primer on the ICSE exams.

If a student fails to clear any subject except English, he or she can take the supplementary exam in July, the results of which will be published in August. However, students will have to pass the English paper to be eligible for the supplementary exam. Besides English, the student must clear four subjects to be declared as ‘passed’.

The last date for council registration for Class XI this year is August 31.

Admit cards have been provided online to affiliated schools to download, print and distribute.
