The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) on Thursday held “Sankirtan Satyagraha”, a unique protest in front of all the Jagannath temples across the state, demanding the opening of all the gates of the 12th century Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri and opening up of the temple's treasure trove (Ratna Bhandar).

Puri Shree Jagannath Temple has four gates but devotees are allowed to enter the temple using the front door only.
