Leader of Opposition and former chief minister Naveen Patnaik turned 78 on Wednesday. Hundreds of people from different walks of life congratulated him by visiting Naveen Nivas.
Students also reached Naveen Nivas and greeted him on his birthday.
Chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and others greeted him on social media.
They all wished the former chief minister good health. Naveen also responded to each message, saying thank you to everyone.
Film superstar Kamal Hassan wished him on the social media X and wrote “My best wishes to Thiru Naveen Patnaik Ji on his birthday. You have dedicated your life for the people of Odisha and have transformed the state. I wish you continued good health and may you continue to serve with your distinctive leadership and integrity.”
On the occasion of Naveen’s birthday, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) organised a blood donation camp in each Assembly constituency of the state. People described him
as the architect of modern Odisha.
