Chartered accountant Shilpi Agarwal, who was allegedly killed at her flat here by her husband hours before he shot her mother and himself in Calcutta, was smothered to death, sources said.
The cause of death was revealed in a post-mortem. There were no injuries on her body.
Her father and brother arrived from Calcutta and cremated the body here on Wednesday.
