Total lunar eclipse dazzles the world on Tuesday as next eclipse will not be visible until 2025

A lunar eclipse happens when Moon travels through Earth's shadow. If Moon only partly makes it into shadow, that's partial eclipse. In total eclipse, Moon becomes fully immersed and takes on reddish glow. In today's eclipse period of totality when Moon was fully immersed in shadow lasted leisurely 85 minutes.
