He would have needed this the most for sure - yes a 'beleaguered' Ashok Gehlot who irked the Congress leadership following a rebellion by his loyalists over the CM chair, the veteran politician must have been desperate for this occasion to get back at his detractors. And yes to salvage his position before the high command. So, here comes the Adani group (whose proximity to Prime Minister Narendra Modi is no breaking news) to announce a Rs 65,000 crore investment in the state over the next 5 to 7 years.
