A remake of the 2017 Tamil blockbuster of the same name starring R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupati, the Hindi version stars Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

The movie is slated to hit screens on September 30.

The film brings together Hrithik and Saif for the first time after Na Tum Jaano Na Hum (2002). Initially, the makers wanted Shah Rukh Khan in one of the pivotal roles, but that didn't work out. Even Aamir Khan was reportedly approached for the role of the gangster, but eventually, Hrithik came on board.

The trailer is intriguing as it showcases the on-screen confrontation between Saif Ali Khan (Vikram) and Hrithik Roshan (Vedha).

The clash of personalities and the aura the two generate would no doubt be the USP of the film.

For Bollywood 2022, it is an absolute necessity that the high-octane action film rakes in the moolah at the box office.

With films after films biting the dust, the industry would be looking to films like Brahmastra and Vikram Vedha to bail it out.
