“At the onset, I wanted to narrate the story of a struggling actor. I wanted to show an actor’s mind or his mind space. I think artistes have a whole separate world of their own, a world they keep organised all the time on their own. The complexities and dualities of an intricately working mind. I think this manifests in every work of an artiste. His sense of life, his way of life, and his inner mind, all of these influence the work of any artiste. That’s what I wanted to portray through this story. Everyone gave their 100 per cent and beyond, under very trying circumstances and sweltering heat. Rwito in particular was so invested in his role that he himself suggested the look for his character. Observing him on the floor, I fathomed how deeply he delves under the skin of the character. Debrajda is a controlled actor and knows exactly how much to project. In sum, I’m very happy to have helmed this project,” said Dip.

“It’s always fun to work with Rwito. For the first time, I played a character who is a tomboy. And the challenge becomes stronger when one is surrounded by brilliant actors. Also, it felt great to work with our director,” said Priyanka.

“From the script level, we had decided on experimenting with the character: the look, mannerisms, and situations. I’m glad we could experiment with scenes on the set and I really enjoyed doing it with Debrajda. I’m really looking forward to the film,” said Rwitobroto.
