Actress Rashmika Mandanna on Wednesday dropped a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets of Pushpa 2: The Rule featuring Allu Arjun and director Sukumar. Here’s a look.
“Pushpa 2 is releasing tomorrow and right now I am overwhelmed with emotions,” wrote the actress, who plays Srivalli in Pushpa 2. The film hit theatres on December 5.
“It’s fascinating to see myself be so affected and so personally connected with this team and for a film.. never before have I ever let a film influence my emotions and today on the eve of the release I am feeling emotions I’ve never felt for a film before,” she added.
The picture also features Polish cinematographer Miroslaw Brozek, for whom Rashmika wrote, “Kuba sir the man of few words but the man when he smiles you know that, that shoot is freaking amazing.”
Rashmika shared a selfie with Allu and Sukumar clicked in between shots for the film. Looking back on her journey for Pushpa 2, the actress wrote, “Pushpa started in 2021 but for me it started waaaay before that in covid times.. I remember the team coming to my house to train me for the chitoor slang to walking on the sets of Pushpa on day 1 the release of Pushpa 1 and then starting of Pushpa 2 shooting for Pushpa 2 for sooooo long.. everyday for the last 5 years talking about Pushpa.”
A picture shows Allu sporting a black printed shirt paired with beige pants, and posing next to a statue of a lion, reflecting the boldness of his character Pushpa Raj in the film.
Rashmika took a goofy selfie while sipping a drink after a long filming session.
For Sukumar, Rashmika wrote, “Sukku sir.. from the point of not knowing how to talk to him to the point where I am so so emotionally connected to him.”
Allu broke into laughter in one of the pictures, where he sports a sari for the Jaathara sequence of the film.
Rashmika was engrossed in scribbling in her notebook in one of the photos. She looked radiant in a green sari, which she accesorised with a golden necklace, danglers, bangles and a nath. A gajra and a red bindi completed her look.
Rashmika and Allu were all smiles aboard a flight.
Allu was seen sporting a white sweatshirt with Pushpa 2 written in Hindi on the bust. He paired it with black trousers and matching sunglasses.
Allu whispered in Rashmika’s ears during a promotional event. While the Animal actress looked stunning in a yellow sari, Allu wore a black t-shirt and olive pants.
The last photo in Rashmika’s Instagram carousel included a polaroid picture of her from her makeup room. A napkin carrying the words “You are freaking amazing” also appears in the picture.
