K.G.F star Yash’s next film, touted as “a fairy tale for grown-ups”, is titled Toxic, the actor announced on Friday via a short teaser that shows him sporting a hat and smoking a cigar.

Sharing the clip on Instagram, Yash wrote, “What you seek is seeking you - Rumi,” quoting the Persian poet.

The video begins with glimpses of playing cards on fire. The names of the cast and the director gradually appear on the screen. Yash’s first-look is unveiled in the video as an intense, catchy tune plays in the background. The 37-year-old actor is seen in a cowboy-like avatar, wearing a hat, smoking a cigar and brandishing a gun. The quick glimpse of the actor hints at the film being a period crime drama.

Yash gained nationwide popularity for playing Rocky — a small-time orphan to a powerful and influential figure in the gold mining town of Kolar Gold Fields — in the K.G.F film series.

Produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under the banner of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic is slated to release in theatres on April 10, 2025.
