Karan Johar has an easy wit and the producer and filmmaker gets it to every project he juggles with. His recent collaboration with menswear brand Peter England sees Karan ace the part with ease. Called 'The Bollywood Wedding' Collection, that Karan is the face of, he introduces the range that packs in royal blue, maroon, emerald green, and, of course, blacks and beiges. Two-piece and three-piece suits, velvet bomber jackets, bandhgalas and shirts make up the range. Karan took a bunch of questions from t2 on the collection and his secret to multitasking.
The campaign is a riot! How much fun did you have shooting it?
Oh, it was an absolute blast! When you’re surrounded by vibrant colours, stunning designs, and the energy of a Bollywood wedding vibe, how can it not be fun? Plus, the creative brainstorming behind naming the collection added its own layer of drama and excitement.
You love style so much. What’s your take on this range?
Peter England has truly outdone itself. This collection is the perfect marriage of elegance and Bollywood’s giltz and glam. Every piece screams confidence and glamour, just what you need to shine at any wedding.
What are your wedding staples?
It’s all about balance — timeless elegance and a touch of drama! A classic suit, a hint of velvet, and accessories that add just the right amount of sparkle. And, of course, confidence is the ultimate staple.
If you are in the mood to experiment, what would you pick up?
Velvet bomber jackets, without a doubt! They’re bold, statement-making, and perfect for anyone who wants to stand out. Pair that with tailored trousers, and you have a look worthy of a Bollywood hero.
How much has your personal style changed in recent years?
It has evolved beautifully, much like Bollywood itself. While I still love my sequins and larger-than-life ensembles, I’ve embraced more tailored, sharp, and sophisticated silhouettes too.

Coffee, a great team, and a love for storytelling — whether it’s through films, fashion, and more, passion keeps me moving!
