Starting June 1, subtitled versions of Godzilla Minus One and Godzilla Minus One/Minus Color can also be purchased or rented digitally on platforms such as Amazon, Apple iTunes, Google Play, Microsoft, and FandangoNOW/VUDU.

The film, which hit theatres in Japan in December 2023, swiftly became the highest-grossing Japanese live-action film in the U.S. box-office history.

Set in post-war Japan, Godzilla Minus One follows Godzilla as it unleashes further devastation on an already ravaged landscape. With no military or government assistance available, the survivors must unite in the face of despair and confront an unrelenting horror. The film was released in Japan on November 3, 2023.

In March, Godzilla Minus One made history as the first Japanese film to be nominated for and win the Academy Award for best visual effects.

Helmed by Takashi Yamazaki, Godzilla Minus One stars Ryunosuke Kamiki, Minami Hamabe, Yuki Yamada, Munetaka Aoki, Hidetaka Yoshioka, Sakura Ando, and Kuranosuke Sasaki.
