Alison Brie’s freelance journalist travels to a politically hostile country with her bodyguard John Cena in the action-packed trailer of American action-comedy Freelance.
The two-minute-50-second-long trailer, dropped by Relativity Media on Monday late night, begins with John Cena’s ex-special forces operative Mason Pettis being hired to keep Alison Brie’s freelance journalist Claire Wellington safe in a politically hostile country.
Also showing Pettis’s former life as a special forces soldier, the clip gives a glimpse into the survival tactics of both Wellington and Pettis as they experience a military coup in that country.

Helmed by Taken director Pierre Morel, the film also stars Christian Slater, Marton Csokas, Juan Pablo Raba and Alice Eve.
Freelance will arrive in cinemas on October 6.
