It revolves around the true story of Julio Strassera and Luis Moreno Ocampo, who dared to prosecute Argentina’s bloodiest military dictatorship, along with their young legal team of juniors, against all odds to bring justice to the victims of the Military Junta. The film is also about an earnest attempt to impose democracy through the rule of law.

Mitre has written the screenplay with Mariano Llinás. While Ricardo Darín plays prosecutor Julio Strassera, Peter Lanzani essays the role of deputy prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo in the film.

Argentina, 1985 drops on Amazon Prime Video on October 21.
