Iranian-American comedian Max Amini delivered Allu Arjun’s iconic “Pushpa jhukega nahi” dialogue, recreating the hand-on-beard gesture from Sukumar’s latest blockbuster Pushpa 2: The Rule at a recent show in Bangalore.
“From Hollywood to Bollywood and back! Never give up, friends,” wrote Amini sharing the video on Instagram.
The video shows Amini interacting with a father-daughter duo during the show. The 43-year-old comedian jokes about the father’s serious demeanour, quipping that it seems the man has come to hypnotise him or solve a murder mystery. In a final attempt to make the woman’s dad laugh, Amini delivers the unforgettable lines from the Allu Arjun starrer, much to the audience's delight.
Amini is a world touring stand-up comedian, and has appeared on shows such as NBC's Heroes, Netflix's Real Rob with Rob Schneider and Comedy Central's Mind of Mencia. The comedian will next perform in Belgium’s capital, Brussels, on January 3, 2025.
Pushpa 2 has earned approximately Rs 1,074.85 crore nett at the domestic box office since its December 5 release. The film also stars Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat and Rashmika Mandanna as Pushpa’s (Allu Arjun) wife Srivalli.
As per media reports, Allu is already gearing up for the third film of the franchise, Pushpa 3: The Rampage.
