Ritabhari Chakraborty has dropped a series of photos with Bollywood screenwriter Sumit Arora, sparking dating rumours on social media.
From shy smiles to stolen glances, the pictures suggest a deep bond between the actress and the writer. “You are my peace in this chaotic world. ❤️ My home. My best friend. My person. @sumitaroraa,” Ritabhari captioned the post.
Sumit is best known for penning the dialogues of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Manoj Bajpayee’s spy-thriller series The Family Man.
Earlier this year, Ritabhari admitted to being in love again during a promotional event for her latest film Bohurupi. However, at the time, she did not disclose the identity of the man who stole her heart.
The mystery deepened on Diwali night when Ritabhari posted a photo on social media with Sumit. In the photo, Ritabhari was seen sitting beside Sumit, exuding warmth and happiness. Though the caption was brief — a simple “Shubh Deepavali” — the image sparked questions about the duo’s relationship.
Ritabhari, who started her acting career with the daily soap Ogo Bodhu Sundori, has made her mark as a force to reckon with in Bengali cinema. With performances in acclaimed films like Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti, Fatafati, and Bohurupi, Ritabhari continues to impress both audiences and critics alike.
Ritabhari is currently awaiting the release of her next film Grihosto. Directed by Mainak Bhowmick, the suspense thriller will hit cinemas in 2025. She is also part of Dr. Biju’s upcoming film Papa Buka, a co-production between Papua New Guinea and India.
