Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 stars Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan are set to appear as special guests on the Amitabh Bachchan-hosted quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, Kartik said on Monday alongside a photo from the show.
“Rooh Baba x Manjulika x Bhootnaath,” the 33-year-old actor wrote alongside a picture featuring him, Vidya and Bachchan doing the signature Rooh Baba pose.
Fans flooded the comments section with their excitement over the upcoming collaboration. “When Rooh Baba & Manju partied with the BhoothNath,” one of them wrote. “Legendary selfie,” another fan commented.
In the recently-dropped teaser of the upcoming instalment of the horror comedy franchise, Kartik Aaryan’s Rooh Baba and Vidya Balan’s Manjulika were seen going head-to-head against each other. The video also offers a glimpse of Kartik and Triptii Dimri’s love story in the film. However, the makers have kept Madhuri Dixit’s character under wraps.
The first instalment of the horror-comedy franchise, released in 2007, focused on Avni Chaturvedi (Vidya Balan), a woman grappling with dissociative identity disorder. The movie also starred Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel and Paresh Rawal.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 revolved around an entrapped spirit seeking revenge. The film emerged as one of the highest-grossing hits of 2022 with a collection of Rs 266.88 crore.
On the work front, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Kabir Khan’s sports drama Chandu Champion.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar-led T-Series, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is slated to hit the screens this Diwali.
