Actor-producer Anil Kapoor dropped fresh behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets of the Disney+ Hotstar series The Night Manager to mark one year of the crime thriller, also starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Sobhita Dhulipala and Saswata Chatterjee. Here’s a look.
Anil, who played the antagonist Shailendra Rungta, a.k.a Shelly in the series, posed with a golf stick against the backdrop of an ocean during the shoot.
Clad in a flowy white dress, Sobhita shares a frame with Anil and show director Sandeep Modi. The actress garnered praise for her portrayal of Shelly’s love interest Kaveri Dixit a.k.a K on the show.
Aditya, portraying the titular role, receives a kiss from Anil after filming a fight scene. The actor's chef uniform and his blood-stained face indicate that the picture was captured immediately after the scene where Shantanu orchestrated a fake kidnapping of Shelly's son Taha to earn the trust of the business tycoon.
Anil and Saswata share a candid moment on the sets of the show.
“To the remarkable team behind the scenes, your tireless dedication and pursuit of excellence have been the cornerstone of our success,” wrote Anil in his post, thanking the crew of The Night Manager.
Anil’s Shelly walks the steps of his sprawling estate in Sri Lanka, where a major part of the show was filmed.
“Together, we’ve crafted something truly special, something that will endure in the hearts of viewers for years to come,” Anil concluded.
