The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences celebrated legendary music producer Quincy Jones posthumously at the 15th Governors Awards, held in Ovation Hollywood recently. He passed away on November 3 at the age of 91.
An honourary Oscar was awarded to casting director Juliet Taylor at the event attended by the who’s who of Hollywood. Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, producers of the Bond film franchise, received the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award. Filmmaker Richard Curtis was presented with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.
