Ajay Devgn-starrer cop action thriller Singham Again, originally scheduled to release on August 15, will now hit cinemas during Diwali 2024, the makers announced on Friday.
Taking to social media on Friday, Devgn — who plays the iconic cop Bajirao Singham in the film franchise — revealed the new release date along with a fresh poster. The poster highlights the film's title and lists the star-studded cast. The announcement was accompanied by the caption, “#SinghamAgain roaring this Diwali 2024.”
Directed by Rohit Shetty, Singham Again boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Jackie Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Ajay Devgn.
Earlier, the Rohit Shetty-helmed cop universe movie was slated to clash with Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule at the box office. But with the new release date, Singham Again is likely to lock horns with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Meanwhile, Pushpa 2 is also reportedly delayed and is likely to miss the August 15 release date.
