Is it a good idea for a couple to turn up at a party wearing identical clothes?

Well, if you are doing it as a joke, as an ironic reference to possible infantile behaviour during adulthood, or to couple behaviour and some its obligations, then it’s fine. But if you just want to show the world how into each other you are, then perhaps there are better ways than repeating the same clothes.

Vogue chief editor Anna Wintour agrees. You are meant to be individuals and your clothes are a way of showing who you are, she advises.

But that should not stop you from asking your partner’s opinion on what you should wear.
