Adani Solar Energy Chitrakoot One Ltd, a step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL), has commissioned a 25MW solar power plant at Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh.

The Adani group on Monday said in a statement that this plant has a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Noida Power Company Ltd (NPCL) at Rs 3.08 per kilowatt-hour. It added that with this commissioning, AGEL’s total operational renewable capacity has grown to 2,975MW.

The plant will be connected to its Energy Network Operation Centre (ENOC) that continuously monitors and analyses performance of more than 80 solar and wind plants across diverse locations in India.

Recently, AGEL also commissioned and announced 100MW solar power plant.

Meanwhile, the Competition Commission of India on Monday said it has approved the acquisition of share capital in Adani Green Energy by a subsidiary of Total SE.
