The IIT JEE exam has been rated as the second-toughest in the world and the toughest in India. The platform determined that the IIT acceptance rates are at 1%, making it the second-toughest exam in the world.

"The complexity of the exam is rising every year as a result of greater competition. Every year, more than 1.2 million applicants compete for approximately 11,000 places at 23 different IITs”, according to the report. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) civil service exams have been ranked third on this list, making them the second-toughest exam in India after the IIT JEE exam.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), which has been positioned at the eighth spot, is the third-toughest test in India. The GATE exam preparation process typically takes 6 months. Approximately 8 lakh to 1 million candidates apply for the exam, according to the report, but only 16 to 18% of them are selected to take the exam.
