The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the exam schedule for class 10 and 12 board examinations on its official website. The exams are expected to begin on February 15, 2025 and end in April 2025. The exact dates of the exam will soon be released on the official website cbse.gov.in.
The date sheet for class 10 and Class 12 board examinations are expected to be released on the official website in the month of December, 2024.
In 2024, the CBSE conducted the Class 10 board examinations from February 15 to March 13 while the Class 12 board examinations were held from February 15 to April 2, 2024.
A total of 22,52,812 students had registered for Class 10 board examinations in 2024. Out of them, 22,38,827 students had appeared in the exam with 20,95,467 students passing the exam, taking the pass percentage to 93.6%.
In Class 12 board examinations, a total of 16,33,730 students had registered for the exam with 16,21,224 students appearing. 14,26,420 students had passed the examination. The overall pass percentage at the exam was 87.98 percent.
The board will release a separate date sheet for the practical and theory examinations. The examination is expected to begin with the practical and theory exams.
