In September 2023 (tentatively), the National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the announcement for the UGC NET test. The National Testing Agency has yet to publish an official announcement about the UGC NET exam's December cycle on the site's home page, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The application window will open for the candidates following the notification's release. The application procedure will last another month beyond that point and won't be prolonged any further. To succeed in the exam, applicants who plan to take the UGC NET December cycle exam must begin their study and preparation.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has given the National Testing Agency (NTA) the responsibility of administering the UGC-NET, a test designed to ascertain whether Indian citizens are qualified for the positions of "Assistant Professor" and "Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor" in Indian universities and colleges. Since December 2018 onwards, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been administering the UGC-NET in computer-based test (CBT) mode.
