The comprehensive notification, outlining admission procedures for both 3-year and 5-year law courses, along with the TS PG Law Common Entrance Test (TSPGLCET-2024) for LLM programmes, has been released by the council. Scheduled in two sessions, the TS LAWCET 3-year course exam will take place from 10.30AM to noon, followed by the TS LAWCET 5-year and TS PGLCET from 2.30PM to 4PM.

For candidates belonging to the general category, the TS LAWCET 2024 exam fee is set at ₹900, while SC, ST and PH category candidates are required to pay ₹600. As for TS PGLCET 2024 applicants, the fee stands at ₹1,100 for general category candidates and ₹900 for reserved category candidates. The examination will be conducted across 21 online test centres in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria

TS LAWCET 3-year LLB: Candidates must possess a graduate degree from a recognised university or its equivalent. General category applicants should secure a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination, while OBC candidates require 42%, and SC/ ST candidates need to attain 40%. Additionally, clearing the entrance test with a minimum of 35% (42 marks out of 120) is mandatory.

TS LAWCET-2024 5-year LLB: Aspirants must have completed the two-year intermediate examination or equivalent exams from a recognised board. The minimum marks required in the qualifying examination align with the criteria for the 3-year LLB programme.

TS PGLCET 2024: Candidates holding an LLB degree and aspiring for two-year LLM programmes are eligible to apply. They must secure a minimum of 25% (30 marks out of 120) in the entrance test.
