Several competitive exams are held by the renowned government agency Staff Selection Commission with the purpose of filling numerous open positions in government agencies and ministries. SSC holds a number of SSC Examinations, including SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level), SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level), and other exams, to fill Group B, C, and D positions in high-level central government organisations.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has made published the updated SSC Calendar 2023–24, which covers the dates for the announcement of the notification, the deadline, and the SSC Exam for candidates who have earned their matriculation, higher secondary, or graduate degrees and above.
SSC 2023-24: Important Dates
- SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam: 2 to 7 March 2023
- SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam: 9 to 21 March
- SSC Stenographer Application Date: 19 October 2023
- SSC GD Exam: 10 January 2023 to 14 February 2023
- SSC CPO Application Date: 13 August 2023
- SSC MTS Last date to apply: 17 February 2023
- SSC Selection Post Application Date: 24 February 2023
