Sanskriti University has tied up with Aharada Education, an aviation institution, to launch a certification course in Drone Driving Training.
The course was inaugurated by Sachin Gupta, the chancellor of Sanskriti University, by flying a drone.
The tie-up will help equip students with the latest digital skills required in drone technology and arm them with emerging digital skills before they enter the competitive workforce. The certification course requires 15 days of training and thereafter students will be issued a certificate.
“Students of any subject can take up drone training. The use of drones is going to be widespread in the near future. Drones are increasingly being used in agriculture, surveying, construction work, defence and surveillance and this use will increase rapidly,” Deepak Bhalla, managing director, Aharada Education, said.
Tanmay Goswami, vice-chancellor of Sanskriti University, said employment opportunities are increasing rapidly for students in the field. “Drones will be the most used devices of the future,” he said.
