The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,832 apprentice positions, distributed across various divisions as follows:
- Danapur division: 675 positions
- Deen Dayal Upadhyaya division: 518 positions
- Dhanbad division: 156 positions
- Plant Depot or Deen Dayal Upadhyaya: 135 positions
- Carriage Repair Workshop: 110 positions
- Mechanical Workshop: 110 positions
- Samastipur division: 81 positions
- Sonpur division: 47 positions
Candidates applying for these positions should have completed the Class 10 examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Additionally, they should hold an ITI in the relevant trade, either a national trade certificate or a provisional certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training.
